What We Do
Nutrition and Food Literacy
Nutrition and food literacy helps kids understand where food comes from, how to make informed choices, and how to build confidence and practical skills in the kitchen. It empowers kids to nourish their bodies and share what they learn with family and friends.
Build Food Skills
Kids learn basic kitchen skills like chopping, mixing, measuring ingredients and knowing how to read and follow recipes to prepare meals at home. They also learn about sustainable, affordable meals that are healthy and important for long-term health.
Foster Community
Sharing meals, cooking together and learning about food as a group helps build connection and a sense of belonging. We help build a safe space for kids to learn from each other and celebrate food within the household.

Local communities benefit through job creation and support for small food retailers, while our partner agencies are able to extend vital services to their members at a time when resources are stretched.
