Growing great kids by learning, cooking and connecting

At summerlunch+, we're dedicated to nurturing healthy futures by equipping children with essential cooking and nutrition skills. Our comprehensive, dietitian-led programs empower kids to make informed food choices, fostering positive lifestyle changes within their families and communities.

Our Mission

Why Your Support Matters

In Canada, children face unprecedented challenges to eating healthy with soaring food prices, the rise of ultra-processed foods and the decline of home cooking education in schools. Our programs fill a critical gap in summer, teaching children vital skills for healthy living, providing a welcoming space and an opportunity to practice literacy and numeracy skills so kids return to school ready to learn in September.
