Creamy Coleslaw

This Creamy Coleslaw is a light and tangy side made with Greek yogurt instead of mayo. Just mix shredded cabbage and grated carrot then toss with a zesty lemon-yogurt dressing.

It’s crunchy, refreshing, and perfect for BBQs or sandwiches. Adjust the seasoning to suit your taste. Serve chilled for the best flavor!

Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 (397g) bag of coleslaw

  • 1 carrot, grated

    Dressing:

    • Juice of 1 lemon

    • 2/3 cup greek yogurt

    • 2 tsp mustard powder

    • 1/2 tsp salt ( to taste)

    • 2 tsp white sugar

Equipment:

  • Cutting board & Knife

  • 1 large bowl

  • 1 small bowl

  • Spoon

  • Whisk

  • Measuring cups/ Spoons

  • Tongs/Serving spoons

Directions:

  1. Grate 1 carrot.

  2. In a large bowl add in the coleslaw, grated carrot toss to combine.

  3. In a small bowl add in the yogurt, juice of a lemon, mustard powder, salt, and sugar, mix.

  4. Taste the dressing to see if the flavour is to your liking. If not, adjust salt and seasoning to your family’s preference.

  5. Pour dressing over coleslaw mixture and mix until all the cabbage is coated.
