Chewy Banana Bread Sqaures
These chewy banana bread squares are a fun and easy snack kids will love to help make and eat!
Made with ripe bananas, whole wheat flour, and just a touch of sugar, they’re a wholesome treat with a soft, cake-like texture.

This recipe makes 18 mini sqaures
Ingredients:
2 ripe bananas
1/3 cup brown sugar (or white sugar)
2 tbsp milk of choice
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Equipment:
2 mixing bowls
Measuring cups and spoons
Mixing spoon or spatula
Square baking dish
Oven + oven mitts
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prep your pan: Line a square baking dish with parchment paper or spray with cooking spray.
Mash the bananas in a mixing bowl.
Add the sugar, milk, and vanilla. Mix well.
In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, cinnamon, and salt.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Stir until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool, slice into 18 squares, and enjoy!
