Apple Cinnamon Baked Oatmeal
These Apple Cinnamon Baked Oatmeal Squares are a cozy, make ahead breakfast or snack made with oats, apples, and warm spices.
Just mix everything in two bowls, fold in fresh diced apple, and bake until golden.
They’re lightly sweetened with maple syrup and perfect warm or cold. Try them with a dollop of yogurt or packed in a lunchbox. Makes 12 soft, satisfying squares!

Ingredients:
Dry Ingredients:
3 cups quick oats
2 tbsp ground cinnamon
2 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
Wet Ingredients:
1½ cups milk (any kind)
2 eggs
½ cup unsweetened applesauce
¼ cup canola oil
¼ cup maple syrup
Mix ins:
1 apple, diced (skin on)
Equipment:
Mixing bowl
Spoon or spatula
8x8-inch baking dish or muffin tin
Measuring cups and spoons
Knife and cutting board
Oven
Oven mitts
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F
Lightly grease or line an 8x8-inch baking dish (or muffin tin if making muffins).
In a large bowl, mix oats, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, applesauce, canola oil, and maple syrup.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir until well combined.
Dice 1 apple
Fold in the diced apple.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish or muffin tin.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden and set.
Let cool slightly before slicing into 12 squares.
Serve warm or cold with Greek yogurt or a glass of milk.
