Hummus

Yield: about 4 cups


Ingredients:

  • 3 cups cooked or canned chickpeas, drained
  • 1 Β½ cups tahini sauce
  • 1 tsp Kosher salt
  • ΒΌ tsp ground cumin

Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients into the bowl of a food processor fitted with the steel blade.
  2. Process until smooth and creamy. Continue to process for another minute.
  3. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Store in a sealed container in the fridge.
Nutrition Tip: Canned or dried chickpeas are a great food to keep in the pantry. They are high in fibre, protein, and iron. This is a great spread or dip with pita, crackers, or veggies!
