Throughout her 19 year tenure at Air Miles LoyaltyOne Angela has been recognized for her vision and leadership around how business can achieve economic value while also creating positive social change. In 2014 Angela won the 2014 WXN Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada Award for her leadership co-founding and running Air Miles for Social Change, part of the Air Miles reward program. Air Miles for Social Change is a first of its kind national loyalty program that uses the power of Air Miles to drive positive social benefit by rewarding Canadians for making choices that are good for their health and the environment. Angela is passionate about driving social impact and has spoken at many conferences and events throughout North America about the power of creating shared value and purposeful enterprise.
Angela loves eating healthy and thinks everyone should have access to healthy food. Angela has two children with life-threatening food allergies and acts as spokesperson and volunteer emergency reaction educator & trainer for Food Allergy Canada. Angela is excited to now be a founding advisory board member for summerlunch+.
