The summerlunch+ spotlight on: MINT!

In the garden:

  • Mint is an herb that grows well in the sun and in the shade.
  • With all herbs, gently rub the leaves and smell the flavour.

On your plate:

  • Mint is used in teas and lemonades. Try adding it to a hot or cold herbal tea with honey.
  • Use chopped mint in Tabbouleh salad or in an herb mixture on lamb.
What kind of mint do you like? Summerlunch+ grows peppermint, spearmint, chocolate mint, and lemon balm in the garden!

Fun fact:

“Mint runners”:

Mint grows very quickly. The mint plant sends out “arms” to another spot in the garden, and a new mint plant starts growing from that spot!
